Thanks to winning a recent giveaway hosted by Julie at My Cloth Diaper Stash and Julie at Cloth Diaper Geek, I received a stick of Eco Sprout Bottom Balm. I was a little leery at first since I have just recently switched to cloth diapering and haven’t used anything but Desitin or A&D – with disposables only of course. I figured it would be a great option to try since it’s all natural and my little man has sensitive skin, so I’ve had a hard time finding anything that works for his bottom.
First, I love the twist up stick design of the Bottom Balm. You don’t have to get your fingers dirty and can hold the stick and rub it on the bottom. It’s fantastic, my hubby loves it for that reason. I also like that it’s not real fragrant, but has a calming natural smell. When putting it on the bottom it glides on easily. Plus it’s clear so it doesn’t leave any marks on the cloth diapers or his clothing. I also love that it’s recommend for cloth diapering use!!!
Recently we’ve had some diaper rash and I do have to say that it works wonders! It cleared up all redness quickly and didn’t bother him at all. He doesn’t cry when it’s applied and has no problems with it! PLUS IT WORKS!!!!
I haven’t tried any other ways of using it. But it’s also supposed to be good for scrapes, windburn, sunburn, cradle cap, chapped skin, or dry skin. It’s also affordable.
This is definitely a staple on my list for my boys!!!! One that I will be recommending to other moms!
